U.S. Government Blogs

Blogs are a popular way to give and receive information. Many U.S. Government agencies are joining the blogging world. The State Department has its own official blog, DipNote, which offers the public an alternative source to mainstream media for U.S. foreign policy information. This blog offers the opportunity for participants to discuss important foreign policy issues with senior Department officials.

GovGab is another official U.S. Government blog. Its purpose is to provide the public with government information useful in their everyday lives,  provided in a personal writing style which puts a human face on government and opens up an avenue for conversation by encouraging and posting comments.
