Being a Foreign Service teen means many life-changing experiences that often feel like world-ending experiences at the time. Despite all the hard times, I think that being a part of the Foreign Service would be one of the most amazing things for anyone lucky enough to experience it. It teaches you to adjust and adapt, giving you the ability to meet new challenges and take whatever life throws at you. You learn not to take so many things for granted, not to complain as much about the little things in life. Yes, you live a hard life. No, it is not always easy. But are you not all living proof that to be a Foreign Service teen is the best kind of teen to be? You have all made it through hard times. Every new post is a new adventure, and every new experience makes you a stronger person. Being a Foreign Service teen just means looking at life from a different perspective. It is just another obstacle you can overcome.
